About
About Merge JSON Files
Our mission
Merge JSON Files exists to make everyday file operations faster and less frustrating. The site started with JSON utilities and now covers related workflows for CSV, XML, YAML, TXT, VCF, GPX, spreadsheets, and other practical data formats.
The goal is not to bury simple tasks inside complex software. It is to provide focused tools that open quickly, explain what they do clearly, and help users finish a workflow without unnecessary setup.
Who we serve
- Software developers working with APIs, configuration files, and data integration.
- Data analysts cleaning, converting, and preparing file exports.
- DevOps and QA teams checking structured files, sample data, and repeatable test inputs.
- Students and educators learning how common data formats behave.
- Business users who need practical conversion and merging tools without installing software.
Why people use the site
Browser-based processing
Most file operations run locally in your browser using JavaScript, so normal tool use does not require uploading file contents to our servers.
Zero installation
Open a tool and start working. No desktop install, account setup, or complicated onboarding flow.
Privacy-conscious defaults
Tools are designed to keep file contents local where possible. Public forms, ads, and analytics are disclosed separately in the privacy policy.
Free to use
The core tools are free and accessible, supported by advertising and site growth rather than paid accounts.
No account required
You can use the tools immediately without creating a login or handing over personal details just to process a file.
Built for repeat workflows
The site focuses on common file tasks people need again and again: merge, split, convert, inspect, format, and validate.
How we keep pages useful
Tool pages describe the current behavior of each tool in plain language. Editorial pages and guides are refreshed when a tool, vendor, price, platform, or workflow materially changes.
Reader feedback matters here. Reports about bugs, stale claims, broken links, or confusing instructions help improve the site for everyone.
